Classy and timeless, this charming port town is renowned for its beauty and its unique atmosphere. And with around 300 days of sunshine each year, there’s no better place to soak up the sun’s rays than the stunning beaches and iconic port.

How many days in Saint-Tropez

The right amount of time to stay in Saint-Tropez depends on your plans.

One day: to see the town

If you are looking to see the town’s main attractions and enjoy a restaurant or two, one night or even a day trip will suffice.

This is also a good option if you are coming without a car.

Two days: town + beach time

To see the town and enjoy the beach – Saint-Tropez has some of the best beach clubs in the world – two days would be ideal.

Three or more days: to explore further afield

If you are looking to get out and explore the surrounding areas, such as the village of Ramatuelle, the vineyards of Provence, or the mountains of Gorges du Verdon, then three days or more is your best bet.

Best time to visit Saint-Tropez

The best time to visit Saint-Tropez is from April through October. This is also the peak season, so be sure to book your accommodation well in advance!

If you’re looking for a more peaceful experience, then autumn or spring are great times to come. The crowds are smaller and the prices lower, although the city won’t be as lively.
