As someone who lives in Nice, one of my absolute favorite things to do is having lunch and enjoying the warmth of the sun at one of the many beautiful beach clubs along the coast.
It’s the ultimate way to spend a day, combining delicious food, stunning views, and that laid-back, sun-kissed lifestyle that we love the French Riviera for. There’s something about the sound of the waves, the taste of fresh, Mediterranean cuisine, and the warmth of the sun on your skin that just feels like pure bliss.
In this blog post, I’m excited to share with you some of my favorite beach clubs in Nice.
How do beach clubs in Nice work?
Beach clubs in Nice offer a quintessential part of the Riviera experience, combining leisure and luxury against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea.
They provide a sophisticated alternative to the city’s public beaches, catering to visitors and locals alike with comfort, amenities, and a respite from the crowds.
Access and Pricing
Nice’s beach clubs are generally open to the public. Guests can rent a lounge chair, often accompanied by a parasol and sometimes a towel, for a daily fee ranging from €35 to €50.
This setup allows for a more exclusive beach experience, offering personal space and convenience not typically available on public beaches. It’s recommended to book in advance, especially during peak tourist season, to secure your spot.

Amenities and Services
The clubs have many amenities designed to enhance the beach-going experience. This includes comfortable sun loungers, access to private stretches of beach, and facilities such as changing rooms and showers.
Nightlife
During June, July, and August, as evening approaches, the atmosphere in many beach clubs shifts to accommodate the city’s vibrant nightlife. These venues often host live music, DJ sets, and themed parties, transitioning seamlessly from relaxed daytime retreats to lively nighttime destinations.
